Welcome!

I have a music education degree from Alverno college and vocal performance and french study at Lawence University. Some of my performing experience includes Florentine Opera,Shorewood Players, Off the Wall Theatre, Sunset Playhouse, Milwaukee Symphony chorus, and vocal program in Italy. I also have a BA in french and I love teaching songs in different languages!

I taught voice to all aged students at Beihoff Music for about three years  I also taught beginning piano and voice at Oak Creek Studios.

I am a fun and friendly teacher who loves teaching the fine art of singing and working with students who want to learn! A typical lesson involves a warm -up with breathing and vocalizing and then each lesson is of couse fit for each individual student. I also encourage learning note reading and rhythms whenever they come into play in lessons. After about a month or so, goals are set.  

My favorite type of music is Broadway and I also love teaching classical, lite pop and some jazz. I believe in showing off the potential of my students and I also expect them to work up to their potential as well!

Areas I do not teach are heavy metal singing or screaming type rock. If you are someone who  only wants to sing the latest  popular song song and you are not interested in developing your voice or learning new areas of music, I might not be the best fit. I am looking for students who are interested in learning, developing their voices and having fun!

Currently, I do not have a home studio but I have a very portable electric keyboard that I am happy to take to you!
