I am trying to learn some basics for saxophone during my stay here in the US for about three weeks. I have no music background at all and is looking to learn and play one song for my wedding at the end of this year. I have no selected the song yet, but is looking forward to learn the basics. I would like my son, Jonathan, to continue to play the Saxophone. He has never had a private lesson before. His lessons were through the school program so he is not confident that he can play the instrument well.

I am interested in taking saxophone lessons. Your rates seem fair and you are located close to me (Garfield), so traveling to your studio should not be a problem. I have played drums for 15 years, fool around on piano and guitar a bit. I just bought a new saxophone, albeit a cheap one, just to see if maybe I can do well with this instrument. I am looking for an instructor for my husband (it would be a gift for him). He played, I believe, in junior high and high school and we have a three year old son who loves music and throuhg him I see my husband's renewed interest and desire to play the sax again.

I am currently taking lessons from George Tricomi for improvisation in Fair Oaks. I'm a Junior in the Oak Ridge Jazz Ensemble.
