Imagine performing on stage with confidence and passion – knowing you have a gift to share. As a professional singer and songwriter, I’ve performed for thousands of people and am passionate about what I do. As a vocal coach, I am passionate about helping you fulfill your passion and take your potential as far as it will go. It is such a gift to see someone’s talent open up and be a light for others. Being a singer is not an easy path –a singer needs training, vocal technique, and the inner knowing that you really can sing (even if no one can hear it). I was mentored, and it made me the singer I am today. That is why I teach. The joy I have in helping singers is for them to be able to sing from their heart and have the means and resources to do it -amazingly.
One of my students recently made it to the third level of the X Factor auditions in LA (from 20,000 people) with no prior training (except an intensive with me) and no performing experience. Her manager was dumbfounded. She came to Los Angeles to sing, and she was ready to do the work. As a coach, this is the attitude that I want to see. Another student made it through the first round of another southland competition, and the judges thought that she had chosen the perfect song for her voice. No one does this career without a coach. Helping my students succeed at what they first only dreamed of doing is the most rewarding part.
