I'm Fae L., a New College of Florida graduate with a well of knowledge in art, art history, and all related and supplemental skills. I've taught a wide range of students, and personally know the importance of curating the learning experience according to one's personal needs, whether it involves neurodivergent communication styles or altering towards a more example based or visual approach in order to build clear understanding and confidence. My goal as an instructor is to inspire and support my students so they can continue to enjoy and be interested in the arts for the whole of their lives. Common topics I teach: - Foundation Art Skills (Drawing, Painting) - Variety of mediums such as Oils, Gouache, Watercolor, etc. - Digital mediums such as Procreate, Photoshop, etc. - Global Art History (Both Eastern and Western influences) - Advanced Techniques and Development (styles, color composition, etc.) - Portfolio Development - Researching and developing proactive personal educational skills - And more Types of Classes I tutor: - Art - Art History - Art Appreciation - Art and Media Communications - All AP and Dual credit equivalents of above classes Special Note: I'm also an experienced editor and writer. I'm more than happy to offer services in editing both academic and narrative written work. It does not need to be art-oriented.
