In the series I will give you a few exercises you can do along with me in the video or on your own!  10 minutes a day will be plenty to start. While alternate picking on your right hand, set your metronome to 60 bpm or whatever tempo suits you and get going! You can get free access to an online metronome on metronomeonline.com !

I teach the fundamentals of guitar, including theory, technique, rhythm, inversions!  I teach your favorite songs, help you with chord formation, and make it fun!  As someone who plays and sings at the same time, I can help singers who want to add this instrument to their skillset and accompany themselves! I specialize in making the song my own and finding easy ways to let your voice shine while playing.  I am also strong at teaching the fundamentals of guitar, chords, learn your favorite song, finger placement, picking to plucking, looping, basic improv and soloing! i'll help you memorize where the chords and notes are on the fret board as well and a bit about music theory and ear training! As we continue on our C chord family journey, one chord that has truly helped me spice up my playing is learning the Cadd9 Chord.  This is an extended version of the basic C Chord and sounds gorgeous.  There are several variations and in this video, I show you two of them, along with a few tips and tricks for positioning and moving between chords.  You can substitute in the Cadd9 for some songs that have a C chord, and it sound impressive and is a great tool for your chord tool belt.

For the beginning guitarist, playing a full C Chord can be a challenge, while our hands get used to the instrument.
