Ms. Cindy graduated with a Bachelor of Music from Sam Houston State University and Master of Arts from Dallas Baptist University. She has 13 years of experience teaching K-12 music, orchestra, and band; and over 25 years of experience teaching piano, violin, viola, and cello private lessons.
Ms. Cindy also composes music. She has over 60 published middle and high school orchestra and band pieces. Her music has been featured at the Midwest International Conference in Chicago the last two years. 
Ms. Cindy has a passion for teaching and instilling the love of music into the hearts of every student she teaches.

Mrs. H. taught 150 students at multiple campuses in grades 5-8.

Mrs. H. has taught private lessons for school districts, music schools, and as a self-employed private teacher for over 25 years.  She teaches incorporating traditional and Suzuki methods. Mrs. H is a dedicated private lesson teacher.

I am a published composer. Most of the music that I write is for middle school and high school orchestra and band. Although I have been composing for years, my first published works came out in May, 2022.

Cindy holds two degrees and a teaching Certificate.  She obtained her Master of Arts degree from Dallas Baptist University in 2016.  In 1996, she received a full music scholarship to Sam Houston State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performance.
Mrs. H has 25 years of experience teaching private violin, viola, cello, and piano, as well as 12 years teaching elementary music and orchestra for the public school system.  Mrs. H has performed at hundreds of weddings, receptions, and parties with various string quartets, as well as orchestral events and churches all across Texas.
Mrs. H loves music and teaching, and her favorite part of teaching is sharing her love of music with others.  She teaches utilizing a wide variety of techniques and methods, ranging from the Suzuki method to more traditional methods. Because of her diverse teaching background, she excels at teaching students of all ages: from the four year old beginning piano student to the advanced high school senior violinist.  Hundreds of her private students have made All-Region Orchestras, first division ratings at Solo/Ensemble, and even first division ratings at the State Solo/Ensemble contest.  Some of Mrs. H's former students have continued in their musical pursuits to become professional musicians.

Just had my first lesson with Cindy today and I know that this is the teacher for me already. She was so patient with me, despite my quirks, I can't wait to continue on this path with her!
