Hi, I'm Addison Witt and welcome to my TakeLessons studio. 
I love being a teacher. It is an incredible gift, and honor to know that you are a teacher. And it is a profound responsibility to be in a position where you can guide others toward the very experiences they dream about. 

There are many different types of acting teachers. My style is to get to know you so that I can bring out the best in you. If you are new to studying acting, I help shape your style and technique. For more experienced actors, we find and remove blocks, build character, and set new goals.

Worked at my personally owned entertainment company that represented actors in TV and film. Many of the actors became successful professionals working in all areas of TV and film related projects. The company was also known for it's impact in the diversity moment, taking on clients with disabilities, linguistic challenges, and actors from nine different countries, all of whom became working actors.

Talent Manager

I worked briefly as a talent manager before realizing that I prefer being a talent manager. As a manager I got to chart the course and help people discover what they are good at doing, and building a career from there.

Agent

I'm a working actor and commercial acting coach that you see on TV. I am a former talent manager, producer, and agent. I prepare actors for work in television and film. While many of my former students and clients are top commercial actors, TV and film stars, thousands more are professionals that work in every area of television and film. I specialize in grooming and developing, starting careers, teaching, and helping actors understand how to make it in show business. All acting styles have evolved, including commercials. I teach improvisation, handling sides, reading cue cards, self-taping, how to slate, and regulate your energy levels. Evaluating headshots, and the business of commercial acting are separate classes.

Addison is a fantastic, challenging acting coach; he brings out things in me I didn’t notice before; I can’t wait to start up again with my next session.  I’m confident that I will learn some things I need to improve my acting skills

The real deal. I have been acting all my life. Additionally, I have worked in Europe, the UK and the USA. When I moved to LA, I had the chance to study with Addison and it was absolutely worth it. Not only does he know how the industry really works but also, he has a deep understanding of character and script analysis. Addison is going to help you to discover the different layers that each role has. When it comes to auditions, working with Addison makes a difference. Believe me, you will be " ready to be ready" and focused. Finally, there is no doubt in my mind that Addison will help you to become the best actor you could possibly be and most importantly: to book acting jobs.
